I, too, think of "classical serverless" rather than "neo-serverless": https://www.sqlite.org/serverless.html ------ Recently, folks have begun to use the word "serverless" to mean something sub

Echoes the AngularJS 1.x to Angular2 transition. Every attempt at a "clean break" new version of a commonly-used platform leads to such long-term weakness, yet the temptation to piggyback off of the mindshare/existing brandin

The market for all of those is ridiculously lopsided, though. That doesn't bode well for illustrators, especially the ones that pour love into crafting every drawing and sketch to make it as good as it could be.

This is the use-case that OpenAI on Azure is trying to solve. It supports finetuning, too. Not cheap, though. I think most companies will end up hosting an LLM on local code rather than using OpenAI on Azure, but for now, there is no equiva

That was implied, I think, though achieving impossible feats is a bit of a stretch in expectations. Private enterprise is certainly leveraging LLMs. OpenAI APIs on Azure are very hot right now, limited to companies that have existing contra

We're a long ways from "Peak LLM", if we will ever get there. If we are, indeed, in a virtuous cycle of LLMs building on each other, then we are actually in the knee of the curve before exponential increase in LLM capability.
