Definitely missing one & after the git clone, else the cd into the directory after will fail, assuming the git clone takes non-zero time to execute.

Isn't it so, in the world of generative AI functions like Marvin?

This is the real answer. The LLM is but the core of the entire ecosystem. Just like how MLOps is 99% of the work, choosing an LLM is 1% of the effort in the final product.

I think you're conflating speed of inference/generation with optimization. gpt-3.5-turbo does not fit on a single GPU unlike the "toy" models.

That level of hallucination is certainly going to come in handy when creating military LLMs!

How quickly we forget pandas becoming gibbons. https://www.popsci.com/byzantine-science-deceiving-artificia ... The speed at which we are giving LLMs access to previously-secured systems feels irresponsible, but there'

For all of @sama's discussion of AI pushing the cost of intelligence to zero, I wonder if we are pushing the _value of sentience to zero_, instead.

I heartily agree, having spent months jankily recreating MRKL and ReAct on a much smaller scale before realizing those papers have existed for months already. How can anyone keep up with the sheer volume of new papers and concepts here? Eve

To be fair, groupthink in web design has generally led to worse performance with 100kb pageloads to show 1kb of content, and this blame generally does not reside with the product manager.

I was curious how much overfitting there really is. The compression is certainly not lossless, and, arguably, is not even meaningfully equivalent. I would not characterize this as a successful experiment. User prompt ----------- Create your

This, so much this! There are so many projects that claim to do this, but end up piping data to OpenAI. Can someone who has managed to get this set up locally send some pointers our way?

I would consider Haystack to be the more batteries-included, easier to use (but harder to customize) of the two. They have a good emphasis on local model use.

Thank you for the honest peek behind the curtains. Are the companies enamored with the productivity gains of prompt-based systems sufficiently that they can ease up on the requirement for consistency?
