This is a part of normal human behavior. People often do corrupt things, as they seem beneficial to them. I wouldn't get angry/emotional about it. People often don't care that much about you, unless it benefits them. Acceptan

There was a forever hosting provider for a one-time fee in Holland. They were very popular until they went out of business. They weren't cheap either! I think €99 or even €199, but don't remember well. It was around 8 years ago.

I never had a contracting job that requires me to stay late, just 8 hours a day. I would have billed 1/4th more day if I had to stay 2 more hours.

My dream is living in a Latin American country (I learned Spanish) and do freelance work online for western salaries, e.g. $60 hourly. I maybe would get bored of it after 6 months, but with a European passport, you can always easily go back
