That’s how it works. Do you really believe that CEOs have the time to think up statements? I thought this was common knowledge by now. The PR people write it, CEOs only give their ok. Edit: All the statements being so similar is a testament

My examples are merely illustrative and not meant to be analogous to the situation at hand. I want to illustrate that there is a difference between being disgusted by something and whether or not there is an explicit rule. There luckily are

In soccer diving is not punished if the referee doesn’t see it, even if three TV cameras captured every detail. Are soccer fans wrong in being disgusted by such diving? There is no law against slamming the door close before the person behin

I’m really not sure why he shouldn’t criticize Nintendo because you think there are similarities to Apple – similarities that are ancient by now. That just doesn’t make sense on any level.

Hihi. Yours is exactly the kind of reaction I’m talking about. That inability to understand is always quite funny but let me try to explain regardless. I’m perfectly happy paying money – even a lot of money – for aesthetics. Aesthetics are

OK, it's also sexy, but who gives a toss? I do! I do! (Though I won’t ever call anything that’s not a human “sexy”. Sorry.) Don’t assume that just because you don’t care for aesthetics other people also don’t. Aesthetics is one of the mos

I very much doubt that assertion. Gruber complains quite a bit, I can’t recognize any pattern of Apple fixing specifically the problems he has faster.

I think the authors go a bit too far with their suspicions (but they use appropriate language, so that’s alright). I would like to see their experiment repeated with, for example video games like Portal (where I do suspect that spoilers mat

I like to re-watch movies for discovering small details and for all the well choreographed sequences. That’s more like re-watching a music video, you do it because the material is just plain cool to watch. As you say, this only works for mo

Yeah, the „dreizehntes Monatsgehalt“ (thirteenth monthly salary) is common in Germany, too. Many more than half of all employees in Germany get it. It’s a Christmas bonus, usually about equal to one monthly salary. It’s nothing special. If

No guess, that's just how it is. Preliminary injunctions about community designs apply EU wide. Apple asked in their request for the injunction (German, http://www.scribd.com/doc/61993811/10-08-04-Apple-Motion-for... ) to exclude the Nethe

That works for you, it won't work for everyone. UMTS and LTE don't have the capacity to replace GSM, not even close, they can barely keep up with the growth of additional demand. GSM is broken and here to stay for a long, long time.
