They could at least have sent the page you're trying to load so that it's ready to render immediately (instead of having to retrieve it from the server after the "container" has loaded).

Exactly. Flash sockets are TCP only (proprietary Adobe protocols aside), and it seems WebSockets ended up without any UDP support either. The overhead of TCP is just ridiculous when you're trying to implement real-time game movements with d

Please use the original title where possible - even if "OpenDNS warns about Google DNS" is going to get you more upvotes than "A Closer Look at Google Public DNS".

Not having to write `function` everywhere is pretty much the reason I started using CoffeeScript.

"C++ REPL using Clang" gets me thinking... I wonder if it'd be possible to compile Clang and Emscripten with Emscripten and make an (albeit slow) in-browser REPL for C.

So by "brain image" it means they observed some activity in the brain related to actions performed in the dream. Pretty cool, but that title is seriously linkbait.

Of course I say why-combinator. He was talking about interpretation of names beginning with `Y`, rather than pronunciation.

Yes, you're right. But a whole bunch of people don't need or use things like automatic refactoring, and more often than not write better code than the people who do.

Non-portable to different character sets, not platforms. One could argue that the argument to json_parse is a UTF-8 string.

Hmm, what should I do? (since it returns a reference). I could make it a pointer instead, but then you wouldn't be able to chain it. Maybe some kind of const json_null value to return when the key isn't found. edit: Done that.

I'm assuming UTF-8, so the characters I'm looking for should match up fine (\u escape sequences are also converted to UTF-8 for output).

It's the one mistake that everyone seems to cite when complaining about C, and I've literally never seen it happen in all my years of programming. Right up there with fall-through cases.
