I mean most people still see it as a blackbox. The magic is in namespaces, cgroups, etc. I would recommend reading this series: https://iximiuz.com/en/posts/container-learning-path/

Docker gives me at least some form of isolation. Yes, I know container escapes are possible but I run gvisor on top of it which is a strong sandbox. If I was just running as a systemd service as a user, all the attacker needs is a linux LPE

Why would you even use a central exchange? It makes no sense. The person holding an absurd amount of coins would not be stupid to throw it all away like that

What? Satoshi's last publicly known email was on April, 2011 to Gavin [0], stating the following: "I wish you wouldn’t keep talking about me as a mysterious shadowy figure, the press just turns that into a pirate currency angle. M

Mumble is awesome but definitely difficult to properly configure. Especially the TLS certs for any reverse proxy won't work directly, there's a hacky way to make it work which I don't fully trust

That's the difference between people who give in and people who don't. This is not about "opsec", it's about exercising your fundamental right to privacy. Majority of people are reckless, the ones who take a second

What? This has nothing to do with it. If author was interested in self-hosting, he would have used mumble or something instead of signal/discord

Going from signal to discord is crazy. How can you be OK with knowing that your personal voice chats are being monitored, recorded and sold to the next highest bidder? How can it be so easy to choose convenience over that? Or is it that w

The individual working on headscale also works for tailscale. And being quite stable and prod ready, even if they pull the plug, a community fork would still keep it alive, given majority of essential features are already there

Please don't use that horrible script. It makes no sense to install such bloatware on top of an already bloated distro, which adds unnecessary attack surface. I would recommend fedora or arch, both are perfect for beginners with minima
