From what I've read web3 creates a new stack in the sense that ENS is used instead of traditional domain names, public key cryptography replaces traditional auth, smart contracts replace application backends and the blockchain acts as

It's certainly messy because it tries to mimic the hardware 1:1, but there are more ergonomic alternatives. Some examples: Bitwig's Grid ( https://www.bitwig.com/the-grid/ ) and Patcher in FL Studio ( https:&#x

Maybe if CSS had more features to work with pseudo element hierarchies rather than just ::before and ::after it might be viable to have the markup be the bare minimum semantic elements.

How does it compare to Photopea for beginners? Is it similar enough that I could follow along tutorials meant for Photoshop? Edit: It looks like it's oriented more towards painting than photo editing

I felt the same way but recently I've been learning a bit of Inkscape and it's easier than it initially feels even with a mouse and keyboard. 2dgameartguru has some nice tutorials you can reference to get an idea for how the tools

Posted this because I wanted to start a discussion on the ecosystem and workflows around Lottie and animations on the web. Here are some alternative programs I found that can export Lottie files: https://www.haikuanimator.com

How mature is blitz? Is it common to run into missing features that you would probably find third party modules for in other ecosystems?

Yes, the author also mentioned login and NestJS has built in PassportJS integration, which in turn has a supported OAuth2 module so the end result is you can hook up authentication for most major providers in 20 minutes (with working sessio

Yes, I'm no fan of the modern Metro UI either (Settings is the worse offender) but I personally believe Explorer in Win10 is peak windows design. Minimalist but with vibrant colorful icons, neatly organized but still information dense

Petite-vue ( https://github.com/vuejs/petite-vue ) is also an alternative to Alpine. It offers a v-scope property similar to x-data so you do most things within markup without having to jump to JS, and it will be easier

Well for audio I think most of the tools are already out there, it's just a matter of bundling them neatly into a nice open source package that has a good UX and workflow.

Yeah, and the modulators themselves are a very cool feature too. Excited to see how Zrythm evolves, the UI looks great and it could be a good starting point for beginners.

There was a comment on the recent Blender 3.0 thread posted here wondering why there isn't an equivalent program for audio. This looks very polished and much more approachable compared to Ardour or LMMS, and seems like a good candidate
