How does that work, doesn't Capacitor already provide its own bridge to native APIs?

I would be more excited about the idea if both the folded and unfolded modes actually had desirable aspect ratios. The current fold's "front" screen in closed mode is this weird super narrow display that will be yet another n

I wonder if Windows or its UI will ever get a ground up rework considering how scared newer developers must be to touch the underlying legacy code base. That would probably require breaking backwards compatibility at some level and that doe

I'd love to use scroll-snap more since horizontal snapping is such a common use case and the alternatives are all JS-heavy, but it straight up doesn't work for me on most of the devices I've tried it on (even the MDN docs)

They have a chance to get ahead if they add full blown Windows in docked mode for their new surface phones since they're running android anyway. Yes, DeX and co exist but no one wants to use them because for the mass majority Desktop =

Yeah, everyone is already familiar with Windows. And to plug your phone in and have access to the same Pictures, Documents, Videos etc folders from the android filesystem sounds like a dream. Sort of like how Parallels automatically syncs t

Does W11 in a VM mean you could effectively dock your phone into a monitor and use it as a proper PC with shared filesystem access to all your Android stuff?

I've been wondering why webviews with native page transitions aren't a more commonly used thing. It improves the UX a lot by dealing with the abrupt navigation changes of regular web apps. There was a plugin for Cordova that did t

I was surprised to see how janky the gallery demo app is on mobile, especially considering Dart is AOT compiled. Apparently Flutter is single threaded too and has a feature called "Isolates" but I'm not sure if they can be us

The whole book looks very full of interesting low level techniques. Do high level JIT compilers like the V8 or JVM apply vectorisation or any of the other optimisations mentioned there, or is that level of fine-tuned performance only possib

No, Microsoft made the bedrock version so you can cross-play the same game across the Android, iOS, Xbox, Playstation and Switch versions. Why should PC players get left out especially considering its the easiest platform to port to? There
