Been using Revolut for about 6 months, my wife does as well. The security features it has kinda make "dynamic" numbers not so appealing.

IMHO, Redux introduced a gamechanging concept no other JS library has done before (at least not in this big way): Single and immutable state object. This fact alone makes the developer experience significantly better, both in shorter debugg

As Yehuda pointed out, such a thing won't happen because Yarn was launched as a community project from the beginning, and a lot of members contribute to both, so even if Facebook decided something sketchy, the community would either st

I don't have any experience with wal-e, but based on what I learned during my research (went with barman), there is no need to to install barman on the primary or the standby server, just a separate instance with proper user/permi

That's quite the contrary to my experience. I combined the diet with a daily 5km morning run, and I had no problems with it, not only was I not exhausted, I was powered up. But maybe that's just placebo :)

I do keto once a year for about 3 months, and truth be told I feel like a superman. I feel more energetic, loose a ton of fat (ironically with increased fat intake), get more stuff done and overall feel better. The only reason is stop doing

This is bad example, because it creates more questions than it answers: - what if the master pod dies (or I transfer it to another node pool)? - how do I make sure if everything dies, my data is safe? - how do I use peristent disks in thi

GlusterFS was pretty much the only damn thing that I could get to work in a reasonable amount of time (Tried NFS, Ceph, Gluster, Flocker). Basically the solution (until we get PetSets at least) is to: 1. manually spin up two pods (gluster-c

For a devOps fan like me, k8s has been a godsend, and what I like in particular is their 3 month release schedule. There are still some hiccups like no good documentation (or a tutorial really) on setting up shared writeable storage and how

Nice tut, although I've learned one thing during past couple of months of developing with Redux: middleware is very useful and often quite an overlooked/underused part of the stack. In this tutorial, the author makes the call dire

This website a good example what's wrong with a lot of open source software (and don't get me wrong, I love FOSS, in fact, I make a living out of it). Complete ignorance of form. There's plenty of awesome function and amazing

Intercom, hands down. We switched what now seems a long time ago, and the pricing is like 3x of what we paid for Zendesk, but the UX feels so much more natural and UI unobstructive that we gladly pay $600/mo for it. Plus the additional

Why does everyone, including Ms. Lovecruft conclude that something is horribly wrong and that FBI wanting to speak with them means they are in deep shit? I'm by no means defending them, but to me, the whole (original) post looks overly

I think this issue/misunderstanding roots in the somewhat loose interpretation of the word startup. A lot of my friends claim to have one, when all they really have is a business idea and maybe a couple of lines of code. Does that mean

I guess it's not Textmate VS Sublime Text anymore. It's VS Code versus Atom. While it's always good to have some competition, I also hate it to see awesome features present in one, but not the other. Well, if I'd have to

A not so rhetorical question: If a bill like this passes, would it make sense for the privacy-aware companies to move completely overseas (like, to UK) where these laws to not apply?
