Well, we know there's a lot of bloggers on HN, many of which use WP as their platform. That makes them our target market.

Since we're quite fond of 'ship early, ship often' mantra, we decided to put this landing page online, despite the fact that some things are still missing; Social sharing and application form (for those who want to become contractors) will

I must say, I'm having a hard time seeing any significant benefits on using CoffeeCup/HAML/Whatever instead of plain old vanilla HTML. I mean, there's a lot more to frontend development than just HTML, and getting to learn another tool like

You can safely move to them, I have several servers, no problems so far, every support request is answered pretty much the same day, and the prices are just ridiculously low. No provider has 100% customer satisfaction rate.

We're launching in January with a dedicated server (quad core, 32GB RAM) on which we have a single VPS (with only 8GB RAM) - this gives us plenty of options going further, either I can set up load balancing, add resources to the VPS, make

I find it quite interesting how PHP developers try their best to encrypt their function names as much as possible? rdmFloat? Why not randomFloat or random_float? This particular example isn't very problematic, but I see this pattern in PHP

I'm a proud owner of a Mini Server (slightly customised - replaced memory and primary disk with SSD) for over a year. I use it as my main workstation and I love it; So small (and relatively cheap including the upgrade), yet so powerful.
