Speaking as someone who used to answer regularly and now doesn't at all, it's because the moderators have gotten insane and taken the fun / interest out of it. So at least in my case, your thesis is incorrect.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I'm having a hard time classifying it, since you can use an actual VM but this seems like something less than that.

Perhaps emulator was a poor descriptor in this case -- I haven't used it. But it is running a subset of functionality non-natively, correct?

In my experience, emulators are never quite the same as the real deal. Has anyone used this, and if so how was it?

Yes, but did those users have 1,600 tabs open? That seems to be the use case Firefox is going all in on lately.

HN is probably the wrong forum for health advice, as it's not really something you'd "hack". Your best bets are mostly mundane according to the large, peer-reviewed studies that have been done, and you could summarize th

Generally, small brands benefit from being associated with larger, successful brands. Having Facebook & Google as login options is probably better from a branding perspective, unless the audience is systematically averse to them.

To be fair, the 2 things that are most often cited (timing and product market fit) are what many VCs do invest in, and they often get called crazy for doing so. The $400 juicer is a great example: my guess is there were some metrics that le

The fanboyishness really reduces your credibility as an author. If Facebook needed to clone an app that was a potential existential threat to their business with Angular, Vue, jQuery, or anything else they would do it just fine.
