Im not sure why are you so certain about it. I am living in the uk and the example I gave about the MacBook happened here. The law in question is the consumer rights act of 2015, specifically section 105. Scroll down on the page and read it

I don’t know where you are from, but in the EU and UK, consumers get 4-6 years of hardware warranty, on all tech products. Look into the legislation. I got a MacBook replaced after 5 years.

Sadly this comparison is very misleading. Steam was a thing for a decade before the windows store and it has been basically the default. The more game stores that appeared over time the worse it has been for the gamers.

When I think opensource, the best couple projects that come to mind are Linux, Blender, and Postgres. It’s that good!

Im also looking for a job and this does seem very much the case, and I have some hints based on the ways they answer, the exact timeframe between companies with nothing in common and how often they update their listing amongst other things.

Out of curiosity after finishing my solution, I tried it with chatgpt 4.0 Part1 worked after me explaining a tiny bug. Part2 however never worked. Even after explaining exactly where the bug was in the python solution got came up with, it c

Yes, same. I keep seeing people say this on discord and reddit, but that edge case was shown twice in the example.

I agree, however in that scenario, are people fully stopping their content generation? Because if not, the pool will grown larger and the problem you described would still be there but to a lesser extent.

And if anything, it’s much better remotely because you don’t have to be hunched over at the same time as someone else on a single keyboard.

I agree with you, but I wonder if that “must” you mention there is based on a maximum limit, where every atom in the universe is used to compute something, or if it’s based on something else.

I fully sympathise with this analogy and I think I have used it before myself. But there is a tremendous difference in practice. A compiler doesn’t produce randomly different code each time you run it, while an LLM, no matter how good will.
