I agree with this point. It isn’t the case that WSB interest disqualifies the viability of financial information… but it also doesn’t make it more credible. The point I disagree with (and I think the original post is making) is just because

“It isn’t exactly news that…” interesting that you say this considering it literally was news for weeks. Short squeezes are rare events. Fact of the matter is WSB was right about GameStop when other investors were not. It may seem obvious n

This is plainly wrong. Their enthusiasm did not create short interest in GameStop, they simply took advantage of it.

What? Sure there is a lot of chaos in WSB but they really were onto something with GME and literally squeezed some institutional investors into bankruptcy. Sure, they are mostly smoke but their mere interest in something doesn’t disqualify

At this point I feel like C# exists in pretty much the same space but solves the same problems better. Java doesn’t seem to solve a unique problem any more or solve common problems better than other languages.

Frankly this still doesn’t seem technically challenging. It does seem like a different sort of design challenge though to get all of the little mechanics correct. This isn’t like inventing a new algorithm though. I suspect implementing this

Frankly, I don’t think that is the ridiculous part. I’d bet Hunter _is_ worse. The ridiculous thing to me is that this didn’t matter in context. Hunter wasn’t running and Hunter isn’t actively working in the white house like the Trump famil

This has not worked in my experience. It allows the IDE to understand the paths but the generated js doesn’t work… maybe I did something wrong?

I don’t know that the scale is quite 10x but some engineers certainly have whole-number productivity multiples vs others. I could identify several of these folks at my workplace. Also w.r.t. the points made about meetings, having gone from

Unreal is a great and flexible tool. In college, I did some slideshows in Unreal simply by panning a camera along an X-axis in a 3D world. Is used text and other assets in interesting arrangements for the slides. It always went over well an

Agreed. I sometimes read such textbooks for my job and it is demanding. Sometimes I reread the same chapter multiple times over the course of a weekend just to make sense of anything.
