It's an action though, "the time that XXX'ed them". Birthed fits there well, berthed does not. Had it said "the time they were berthed to" I would understand your point better. Perhaps you're right and it

Most of the big consultancies are also big accounting firms, where there is a fair amount of incentive for sign-offs to mean something, or at least have some serious risk if that sign-off isn't impartial or well researched. I believe t

You're assigning some notion that berthed means berthed in a home port. Ships are berthed in many different places and times. So the "time which berthed them" just doesn't work.

Because each airlines knows their competitors will lose margin if fares don't go up. The new rules are more expensive. So someone will raise the fares, and the competition won't significantly undercut the pricing change.

It almost works, but "berthed" doesn't imply "created", since it means something more like "parked". So that doesn't read right with: "The destiny of all books is to become unmoored from the tim

What's sort of interesting about that catalyst of “steady weakness in the daily numbers” is that it didn't equate to a plateau, decline, etc... It was that the ad dollars weren't, for the umpteenth time, exceeding YoY growt

The scoring system doesn't necessarily reflect reality. Separately, there is a drive towards a sort of "social credit rating" that I do think is a bad thing. In the narrower space of having a criminal history, the US is very

It does have upsides. Though the python runtime version management story suffers from being fragmented. It gets complex if you add poetry, IDEs, different types of shells (gitbash, power shell, zsh, etc), things that have their own ideas

Spent a little time poking around to see what this is... It's a bare-bones hosting service with a limited free tier (25MB asset storage), and a cheap premium tier (10GB asset storage for $2/month). The big selling point is this:

It's interesting to me that some of the long-standing things are still there. For example, lots of people with an earring in only one ear, unlikely asymmetry in the shape or size of their ears, etc.
