What people care about shouldn't affect the law. Suppose a 14year old girl stole some underwear - the store then videos her in her bedroom in the underwear and puts it on TV as an ad campaign. Still acceptable in the USA?

Sorry I thought the owner remotely started the video camera - but accessing the recording remotely could still be considered wiretapping

Video recording somebody in the privacy of their home and broadcasting it without their permission or knowledge.

In the UK they got TomTom to remove the speed camera database from it's sat nav. Instead there was a 3rd party site where you could download an updated database of accident black spots - the ones where they put speed cameras.

They should pass one of these new laws banning drugs as well that will stop drugs. A law against murder might also be a good idea
