I've "wasted" so many hours of my life on this and the original by Chris Sawyer. The original is a masterpiece when it comes to programming and UI design I think, at least for it's time. It is also very fun :) It's

There are no subsidies, only tax relief. The Norwegian government does not give money to anyone buying an EV, but since fossils are taxed so high it gives an intensive.

The average salary is close to the equivalent of $55000 and median is a bit over $50000, that helps. The fossils are also taxed heavily, the Audi Q7 for instance starts at over 1.1 million NOK, the Model Y starts at 550k or so. In compariso

There is no tax on EVs, but a lot of tax on fossils :) You also get some other incentives but they are in the process of being phased out now.

Not every day but once every two weeks I have a trip with about 500 km each way. When I came home yesterday I had 4% left from 100% on my model x. Still if I had to charge a bit it would have been included in my 20 minute "pee and hot

Well, 20% of new sales are still fossils so you'd have some grumpy men in the outskirts but I think that would be it. Even in the most northern county (Finnmark) the new sales for EVs are approaching 50%. I have two EVs myself, and goi

In my area in Norway there are now over 50% EVs. Not new sales but total cars. Since it's a "villa area" everybody charges at home. No issues with the grid :)

Luckily the tesla autopilot ignores speed limits on the high-way, it only follows it (when on auto pilot) on slower roads. There have however been issues with e-trons and id.X cars reading side street signs here in Norway and braking hard o
