Seems like "the internet" works again here in Norway. I've been limited to local sites all day. Hacker news has been off for several hours for me. Whatever it was it must have been nasty.

Yeah I'm not ruling out the "placebo" either! But I can feel a distinct difference and the shortness of breath always comes with the fatigue. It's too early to have any proper long term studies, but I think SARS gave lun

I'm in Norway, but I guess I could just get an antibody test. Not sure if it would benefit me though. Could do it just for curiosity perhaps :)

I had something with symptoms similar to corona in March but there was not enough tests to get me prioritised (40 year old healthy male, 22.5 BMI). It wasn't too bad but it lasted three weeks and I still have periodic shortness of brea

The current Model S is actually on par with the model 3 in terms of battery and drivetrain. They continuously update it. They stuck the Model 3 motor type into the front of the Model S and primarily uses that for driving. You get to use the

The issue with this view is that in the universe we see today the gravitational force is not strong enough to do what you describe here. There is acceleration of the expansion i.e. energy is added to the system (in the form of vacuum energy

That's where people are wrong, it's not about not identifying the 99% that share similar traits, it's about not identifying those who do not share traits with others (in that area). Such a billboard in a small town up north i

Depends on how long it is stored, you have some time (one month) to clear your systems when you get a request for deletion.

Also, YAML is kind of a hack. Living in Norway I've had quite a few of these situations where no is parsed to False [1]. [1] https://hitchdev.com/strictyaml/why/implicit-typing-removed/

Curious about how accurate these tests are. The recent coronavirus is just one of many in a family that also includes common cold as written in the article, "There was the potential for a false positive due to the virus’ similarities w

I got an option to switch to DAB+ from my (previous) dealership but I just don't see the point. It's much better just to use mobile broadband and stream whatever you want using your phone + bluetooth. My new car has DAB+ but it al

Wow I'm quite out of the loop here. TikTok pays money for videos? I thought it was pure "instagram but with music and videos" for kids. Not that I've used instagram either but at least they don't seem to pay people.

In Norway if you have symptoms but not been tested you are allowed in the shops and work again one day after symptoms subside as "the chance of infecting someone drops drastically at the end of the infection" [1]. If you have a po

That's interesting, is that peak performance or is it sustained performance? I've given up on performance metrics for phones as 99% of them will just overheat within seconds and throttle if you actually try to use the advertised p

I'm not an insider, just a Norwegian that consumes seafood :) But that might help if they reduce the drugs they put in the feed. However I think what needs to happen is that they stop poisoning public waters and move everything to high

Yes the best way is to use voice control. You can tell the tesla to "set fan speed to 2" and it will do it. Voice commands are the safest imho. But at least in my car I only need to select fan speed in the first menu then scroll d

You will still eat the worms, not that it is necessarily a bad thing. When I go fish in the south of Norway I see these worms in maybe 1 out of 10 fish I catch. I personally don't eat them but I don't think it's unhealthy as

If they're bailed out the government should take over the stock and if they survive the government can recoup the money it cost to bail them out by selling stock again. It's how it works in most countries at least.
