IMO, this hypothesis hasn't been adequately tested. By all accounts inflation is bad, but not THAT bad. However, I'm sure Bitcoin and most Cryptocurrency is looking pretty stable with respect to Venezuela's 2,00,00% inflation

Last year I made much more than my day job creating NFT projects. This year things have slowed down, but it's still nice. I know multiple people that have quit their full time jobs to do this kind of work, but it's not really &quo

You're right, most people would not work for a company that promotes those things, however I'd wager that most people also don't think Twitter promotes those things even with Trump as an active user.

I think the opposite. Musk owning Twitter makes it a much more appealing company to work for.

No Starch gives options for authors as far as advance/residual. Still not lucrative, but I think they have a strong brand and it's probably a good career move.

I don't think this take will age well. By all public accounts there's something like a 15%-20% engineering talent shortage in tech. That means pay will go up regardless if Topeka or SF until the current generation of engineers cat

I don't really think they are trying to solve this problem as much as being reactive to complaints.

I think cryptocurrency made ransomware more rampant, because of the ease of payment. Without cryptocurrency, ransoms would probably be MUCH higher. Folks would be standing in line at western union to pay their ransoms, and the threat actors
