Very funny. A fragment of what it used to be - like the size of an "IMAX" screen.

IMAX - Isn't that the name of the inflatable robot/healthcare worker/superhero in that one movie? I love that guy. His curved screen is so large, has great high definition and amazing audio quality. I can't wait to watch

I like numbered boxes, but I still tend to put a word or two on them. If you have it in your hand reading it is always faster than pulling out your phone. The lookup is great if you have a pile of boxes and want to find something. In place

Same here. Thunderbird with Enigmail on linux and it has worked for years. What really made me happy was K-9 Mail on Android - now I'm not tied to a computer to send or read a secure email. Facebook? I don't use it, but it is nice

Mandrake was my second distro. I started with Red Hat, but when I got a new video card Mandrake supported it and RH didn't. I only had dial up so I bought a CD and waited for it to come in the mail. Those were the days.

Japanese balloon bombs were just in the news this week. A Utah sheriff had a bit of fun with one in 1945. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=34756436

Discover card has gone back and forth on this. They had a tool on their site to give you a throwaway CC #. I used it for almost all online purchases. It went away for a short time, then came back. Now it looks like it is gone for good. I qu

I was chatting with an operator of a Cat excavator who was building retaining walls with large rocks. His machine is chipped to produce more HP, the hydraulic pump is tweaked to allow a higher pressure, hoses and seals are upgraded as they

I gave my 0.02. Ok, a bit more than that, but everything helps. I don't know what I'd do without GnuPG. It has so many uses beyond email...

Regardless of what you write, there are non-law-enforcement people in the US who can legally walk into school with a gun. I don't know about every state, but in Utah if you have a permit to conceal, you are good to go in a school.

Can the driver-less truck put chains on its tires in the winter? I didn't think so. I'm sure that we'll make use of the tech we have but there is so much more to driving a truck than driving. Maybe the "drivers" wil

Yes, like incompetent management who tells a driver in freezing temperatures that they will not reimburse him for fuel additive to keep the truck from gelling up. Management was in Florida. The truck was in Montana. Eventually a call to a m

You started down the right road. Much of their pay has to do with how they are paid. There are trucking companies that don't pay drivers to fuel the truck. Do you know how long that takes? It isn't like it is an optional task - th

Consumer Ready? It is about 8 years behind in my neighborhood. My street doesn't exist and it there in 2006. Google has a street view of it and has been able to find my address since 2007.
