Can also relate--I've been writing software for 15 years, and for probably the first 5 years I produced more raw lines of code than the last 10. At some point we (hopefully) all learn that slogging more code at a problem has a vanishin

It’s arguable whether those are actual savings or not. Those things are all corporate benefits that cost much less for a company to provide once than for each employee to provide for themselves separately. So employees will eventually start

For young conservatives who had the Affordable Care Act shoved down their throats during Obama's first term (and this was the last time Democrats controlled the House, Senate and Presidency), it feels like a great loss to be back in a

Wow. Reading the bit about disabling the chip security makes me wonder what the point of a chip card is in the first place? All it takes is lifting the mag strip and altering it to declare that there’s no chip.

Oh man. I left a remote job in like, late 2017 because of some problems I had with their ethics. I took a job that paid less and required me to drive (not too far, and I was missing seeing people's faces a bit anyway). It was a bigger

This reminds me of a piece of local history I recently learned in my hometown (Northeast FL). In the late 1800s, a number of slave families traveled down-river from Georgia after being emancipated and homesteaded in my area on the St. Johns

I enjoyed the read. Side note: is it just me or is the Keto industry in general just like 99.5% criminals? I’ve had my credit card stolen multiple times this year, and the thief has used my card to send ME keto pills I didn’t want. This ma
