That's a very cryptic response. I very much don't know what you mean by it. Maybe you could spell out what you want for the future?

I'm not apportioning blame just saying that what's happening now is feeding a future of separate societies that probably everyone would rather avoid. I don't believe the average Swede wanted mass immigration but there were im

Integration is a two-way street. I've known many people born in England, France, Germany who feel excluded from education opportunities, workplace opportunities, healthcare and general civil society because of their family origin, cult

You can, they are just expensive (other than iphone). Maybe 8k for a handheld basic one (e.g. Trion P1), $15k for a drone attachment (e.g. DJI Zenmuse L1) - more for the ones surveyors use proper including the tripod-mount ones. At the cons

Hangul is a 'syllabic alphabet'- it is a combination of alphabetic and syllabic and as such probably the clearest/simplest writing system invented.

Yes. Impressive tech but the website is ultimately not a great experience. You don't get the detail, the texture, the light, the human scale etc. Instead you get bits of wire frame, stuttering, odd flying movements, anti-aliasing issue

Both are open source. However, Foursquare open source places seems to be Apache 2 licensed where overture is CDLA Permissive 2.0. So not sure if you can port from one to another. It does my head in trying to work out the kind of licensing i

It's a US approach not considered the same in Europe/internationally. A good example is the GIS industry where ESRI (ArcGIS) dominates. In Europe the open source qGIS is generally an acceptable alternative despite less 'suppo

Making a movable 3d scene from limited initial information. Some pros and cons against a traditional '3d model' approach. Pros - faster/simpler to generate (especially with lots of data), better at dealing with light and refl

Yeah Martin is amazing. And deckgl too. It's a pity as such a tiny tool it doesn't get the publicity of things like this and mbiles and pmtiles. Tile generation on the fly should really be default for most uses.

One thing worth noting is lack of fire safety. Not only did the crystal palace burn down but also most of the similar steel and glass exhibition centres built internationally (of which the crystal palace was the first very large one)

This is a bit correllation / causation. Larger companies aren't better in themselves, otherwise state monopolies would be the best answer. Developing countries have lots of businesses sure. But "size" is not a problem it

It's a relatively recent convention though. Isometric means "equal measurement". The measurement along each axis has nothing necissarily to do with angles. The only difference is if you "stack" tiles vertically they
