It's in /opt, so it's just: PATH=/opt/homebrew/bin:/opt/homebrew/sbin:$PATH I considered a ~/ directory but wanted it available for the rare occasion when there is someone ssh'

Homebrew can be installed anywhere, and after ~2 years of having it outside of /usr/local I have not run into any problems. There is a disclaimer somewhere that states some "packages" may not work well with this setup,

iOS has a surprising number of realistic language choices, where by "realistic" I mean a savvy end-user would never know you didn't use Objective-C (so, PhoneGap & co are not counted).

That could make for a cool park. I imagine you'd have clear line of sight between the planets (either by having a clear path between or by raising them up on monuments), and telescopes setup at each planet in such a way that visitors

There are existing (old) *nix commands for this. E.g., the `talk` command which I believe needs the talkd daemon running (ntalkd on OS X). There are also `wall` and `write`. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Talkd_
