I don't know if changes were made on your end or if my VPN host rotated to an unblocked IP address, but everything is working for me now, with or w/o the VPN connected. If it was something you guys did, awesome, thanks!

Same thing happens to me. I've noticed that it works fine if I'm not logged in, but if I am logged in or I try the login page, I get a blank page if my VPN is on. The Chrome network panel shows a 403 code (Forbidden). Edit: I can

I'm not whom you responded to, but, thank you, I found that diagram very helpful.

I also run a personal mail server and haven't had any issues with delivery (that I know of). I'm using Mail-in-a-Box, which deserves all of the credit for keeping the box low friction to setup and maintain. I'm running it o

5s for maps, 11s for messenger (3s for messages). But, this is on a plain 5, no "S" or any of that fancy stuff new stuff. My latest annoyance is when I'm using the keyboard and it just visually freezes for several seconds.

Sadly, no. It's not that the ideas were invalid, I learned that I'm simply lazy and unmotivated.

I've been using a manager called Enpass [1] for over a year now and really like it. It has browser extensions (Chrome, FF, & Safari), local storage (with many cloud-sync options), and apps for Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, etc

When I was looking to get rich quick back in the eighties, I saw several methods that focused on teaching you how to get rich quick by selling people information via classified ads. And, of course, you would find these products by reading

I'm ok with that. I can eyeball a bunch of RSS entries very quickly, and I think a "NYC NUKED" headline will get my attention just fine. I'll attach my own level of interest.

I'm at 11,688 bookmarks now ಠ_ಠ. I'm certain that many of them could be deleted, and periodically I'll scan through a section of the list and delete the ones that are obviously no longer of interest to me. I started using a

I guess the alternative is to learn very little, have fun, run up huge debt, because why not, you're going to get run over by a bus tomorrow. But, then you don't. Well, crap.

The good ol' days :) My home desktop is using a Boston Accoustics 2.1 (BA790) that I bought in 1996 as an "open box" item from Best Buy, and they still sound great. I even had a family member buy me a 6.1 (Logitech) system o

I agree. I have a mid-2009 15" MBP to which I long ago maxed-out the RAM and replaced the HDD with an SSD, and it's still my daily driver. About the only time I notice its age is when I do something involving very heavy disk i&#x

Exactly. Cherry-picking what portion to leak can, intentionally or not, result in a narrative orthogonal to the truth.

That is correct. My "apps" are really just small utilities, and the compile times are about 1s or a little less on my older i7 with spinning rust.

I have to admit I still like and use the Compiz cube, but what I really like is the Wobbly Windows effect. It may seem cheesy to many, but it's oddly satisfying to me. And it's really smooth even in VirtualBox.
