I can't think of a single product / service that went live in every country on the same day. Not saying it hasn't happened, but I stay pretty current. Can you?

there is a lot of frustration that it launched only in some countries and not in others. i see why that would be a bummer, but is it reasonable to expect that they should (in some vaguely moral sense) launch everywhere in the world at once?

When a company is growing, it's not the p&l that matters. It's the contribution margin (CM) (revenue less _all_ variable costs - including those "below the line", like SG&A, that scale with your customer base) th

Hey - this happened to me. Startup (www.buildinghero.com) and long-term relationship (5 years) both ended in fall 2013. Feel free to email me at thomas.vladeck@gmail.com. Definitely the hardest couple of months scrambling to get over both.

Your analysis of EU Cap is off base. The price collapsed in the first phase for two reasons: 1. They set the cap far too high; and 2. They did not allow banking between phases. They correct the first error in the second phase of the system.

The stock is down from when it was up, but it's still up from when it was down!! In all seriousness, 8-10% is a big move, but definitely not "seismic", especially after an earnings release. Apple went up that much yesterday.
