If a scammer, advertiser, or some other form of spammer can get a payout just 1% of the time, they will be willing to pay much more than the average person posting the average tweet. If you make everything explicitly transactional, you will

Userland DRMs do all sort of nonsense. Kernel anticheats wouldn't use the syscalls, they're already able to call the kernel routines they want directly.

On enwiki there is a big problem with bad LLM edits at the moment, so it's probably not the right time for this idea. If anything, the community is discussing stronger guidelines against inappropriate LLM use.

Right. Try clicking those sources, half the time there is zero relation to the sentence. LLMs just output what they want to say, and then sprinkle in what the web search found on random sentences. And not just bottom of the barrel LLMs. Ask

Well, I've reached the end of the book. I like the systems mindset in the book. I think it's great to introspect and try to debug your own self. Starting from pages 31-33, I found some interesting things. This book is the product

I haven't bought a Framework, but I wouldn't wish ill on them either. Spiritually, Dell can only desecrate Framework. Nothing good would come out of that, I feel quite certain.

There's a trend of online banks forcing the use of an app. I can't login to one of my banks' website since last year without using a QR code from their app. Of course they slathered the app with tracking, 'security'

It's rare to see the mangling heuristics improve a title these days. There was a specific type of clickbait title that was overused at the time, so a rule was created. And now that the original problem has passed, we're stuck with

There is still a guardrail. The blog post explains that it is just using different functions and notation which might allow things like 0/0. But at the end of the day, different notation still cannot be used to prove false things. In o

Many websites including Soundcloud are still only accessible through IPv4, so this is moot, even if VPNs support IPv6 it's enough to block their V4 exit nodes for Soundcloud.

Given how often smaller LLM companies train on the output of bigger LLM companies, it's not much of a moat. LLMs complete text. Every query they answer is giving away the secret ingredient in the shape of tokens.
