Maybe start out not editing and just publishing your raw notes if you can. If people express interest, that might incentivize you to start editing. Basically prototype your writing. Also, I find editing easiest with some time between writin

I can't comment on fasting in particular, but as another comment pointed out, I think the idea that you need to immediately get protein before/during/after a workout is a bit overblown. My understanding is that protein can be

Just curious because I don't know enough about this stuff - what kind of fingerprint would you be looking for in the header that could tell you whether they knew the address ahead of time?

Sorry, could you explain Schmidhubering as a verb? I know who Schmidhuber is, but not familiar enough to understand this. Is it that Schmidhuber makes claims that LeCun's and others' ideas are derivative of his own?

This is interesting. Does elevated insulin / anabolic rates mean there’s no breakdown though? At least with muscles, most increases in synthesis rates are accompanied by a proportional increase in breakdown too. I don’t have papers on

A couple of things: It sounds like you're asking two (or more) different questions. Your title implies maybe getting back at your employer. I think many of us have gone through similar feelings, but ultimately you should do what's

Don't want to spoil it for you if you really don't want to know but I want to share to others in case they do because I found it so interesting when I first learned! It looks like others shared the paper: https://www.ee

I got very interested in this kind of stuff a few months ago in an effort to get better at climbing. I can't access the full paper but going from the abstract, this result isn't super surprising for two major reasons: mainly that

My understanding is that protein folding is a major cost bottleneck in drug design. Researchers can come up with candidate molecule formulas that might work as good drugs, but the problem is that these proteins organize/fold themselves

> If your primary reason for responding to an ad is based upon salary you are not going to be happy where you work You might not be wrong, but a higher salary makes me less miserable than a lower salary

Thank you for the kind words. I saw your post that you're not doing well, and I'm sorry for that. I recently did the leetcode grind so I can empathize with that to some degree. It was a lot of misery for several months for me befo

It’s been a rough year for me. Was burnt out from working 70 hours a week at a small startup so I decided to start interviewing. Hit my head and had severe concussion symptoms for about four months. It was extremely difficult to manage work

Right, but if you just replace "pet" with "baby" in your comment, the argument is still relevant. I'm not saying either way is wrong, but I don't think you can immediately conclude that it's fair to bring

My dad died unexpectedly recently. For a period, I was hyper motivated, but now I'm starting to similarly feel unmotivated. I've also thought about just disappearing, but having to be there for my mom and sisters has been stopping

I'm not sure if the submitter is Scotty from the video, but I'm sorry to hear this. I hit my head on a rock surfing almost 4 months ago and have been dealing with similar issues. I don't have any tips or tricks to share about

I think maybe part of it is that most people are introduced to FP through haskell, if I had to guess. And haskell (at least the tutorials) is IMO guilty of the top-down approach where the final value is written first, referencing variables

Forgive me, but I'm really new to programming, and I don't really understand why your example is something that shouldn't be used in real programming. Should a Car be a Vehicle object instead of a sub-class?

I'm entirely new to hacking, and as such I'm struggling with level 1. I looked up the system() exploit, and I've managed to compile my own date program, but when I try to read the password from level02, I'm told I don't have permission. Cou
