Seems more like a succinct tutorial vs a "look how easy and fast this is". There are definitely alternatives with less code.

Is it though? Seems as though OP was just pointing out something interesting from the data. He was not making an argument for or against being labeled sexist. What is your solution to the pay gap between women and women, women and men, and

Well you surely can't deny that SOMEONE is listening? Google or Facebook, do some tests and you will find it's true. Confirmation bias is a possibility but from what I have seen and experienced I just can't believe that is al

Also a long time customer here for Spotify. 2 is very interesting and I would certainly like it. 3 I am not interested in. I hate when other platforms do it, so I am not interested in the platform I use doing it as well. Maybe I am just not

Hah. I have a phone with 5GB (probably marketed as 6 but I don't remember) and you really can not have many apps installed at once. Add to it the fact that if you run something like Spotify it will cache like 1GB of data over a few day

These phones seem like really good deals... too good to be true? I'm in the market for a cheap phone coming from a moto E 1st gen and these seem like promising options.

It's Sunday. You're extremely hungover. Chinese food sounds great. What's not to understand about ordering delivery? Ultimately it boils down to convenience.

I can say without a doubt Spotify has given me the greatest ROI for listening to music on mobile. Youtube might be a close second if it wasn't for the fact that I can't have my phone on sleep and continue the video.

Only 267 people in 180 days? Sounds low. I guess it might not be based on the number of interviews as I am not sure how selective the hiring companies are being.

I'm not suggesting either. I drive a car from 2001 that has spent most of its life in the US north-east. Rust can be an issue but you would be surprised how many cars don't have major rust problems. However, if I had an option of

That's an interesting way to teach, acting much like someone running a college level CS lab, except you also have the benefit of creating the material. I think this is one of the better ways I have read to teach this sort of stuff. No

Hah, I will not deny that it's probably very cost efficient, but 7k is only a cheap car relative to a new car. A cheap early 2000's late 1990's civic that runs is somewhere around 5 times less than that.

Do you live somewhere where a car is not necessary/totally unaffordable? I think the OP is probably living in the US, and navigating most areas is almost impossible without a car. Wonder what the alternative to a cheap civic is other t

Well, that's just part of the problem with the connected world. If you do something wrong it doesn't take machine learning or AI to find out, you just have to google it. Someone hiring you for a job will most likely do this anyway

Hah, I can agree with a single source of truth. A credit score is essentially what you are referring to. I know for sure you cannot rent without a large deposit with a terrible score, and some jobs will not hire you (especially GOVT jobs) w

Doesn't the vast amount of data we have allow for things like getting a loan without knowing a guy? As for point 2, if someone is more worthy... why is that bad? And why should an employer not use information easily accessible to them

To be fair, fixing your brakes on an old car is an absolute nightmare IME. I did it on my early 2000's Mustang and even though there are very few steps every bolt was rusted together and I spent the better part of the day in the rain.

For a jr dev, those questions might be a bit more nerve-racking :) Although... an interview in a chamber filling slowly with sand might trump the former.
