One very slightly annoying thing is that the orange/red "over character limit" only appears after the pause/delay. I don't know if you could signal that more immediately (inline perhaps, without updating the thing o

Somewhat responding to a twitter post you made, but the Apple GPU is absolutely not a legacy-free architecture: it still looks broadly (very broadly) similar to a PowerVR GPU, which I don't think anyone would claim is even remotely san

There was a language that started working on an entirely separate compiler toolchain for debug builds (prioritising compilation+linking speed) - I think it was zig but I can't remember exactly.

Contact them and ask for clarification, if they do not respond, contact https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/your-personal-informatio... That's what I've been doing for non-compliant sites.

To provide some supporting evidence for this, a choice comment made a couple of days ago: > Rust has many benefits and I find it hard to imagine how anyone manages to get any performance-sensitive work done in the cryptocurrency industry

Just having taken a very quick look through the source, you should not really be doing individual memory allocations per-resource.

Until the more senior member quits because they are wasting the vast majority of their time answering questions that could have been answered by just trying for more than 30seconds after hitting an obstacle...

h is left because it is on the left of the movement keys, l is right because it is on the right of the movement keys... a fairly convenient correspondence.

disclaimer: I have no idea about Linux auditing: If you 'sudo -s' (or one of its friends) does the log still record the commands done in the "root shell"?

The two attributes are pos and uv, which are almost always tied to each other (and therefore be updated together). The GPU will access attributes by index hence they should be interleaved otherwise you are just forcing cache misses. Indices

Vertex attributes should probably be interleaved anyway.

ARB_multi_draw_indirect (and its bindless friends such as NV_shader_buffer_load) somewhat invalidates your statements re: saving a bunch of commands.
