I'd certainly be interested. I thought about this awhile back but never found the time to get anything going. If you end up going through with it post the Github link as I'd like to contribute.

I have a HP Mini 110 series (about 4 years old) that I've installed Ubuntu 11.10 on. Took a little tinkering to get the wifi working but now it has no problems and is very fast for 1GB of RAM and a Intel Atom CPU. I also have a bigger Asus

Is the source code available on github by chance? I've recently started delving into android and would love to study/contribute to this app if possible. Regardless, really an excellent job overall with it.

Have you considered moving out of New Zealand? I'm not sure of your experience or personal life as it's not stated but if you've been working a steady 9-5 as a Network Engineer for a few years you likely have some money saved up I'd assume?

I actually wrote a research paper just last semester for my undergrad operating systems class on 'user interfaces in the year 2022', and although this wasn't my exact focus I'll share some things I noticed while researching as well as other
