Are you trying to dispute that compilers are large and complex? It seems like you are saying that if the language is simple, a non-optimizing compiler for it can be simple, which seems somewhat obvious. I think the "microcosm of comput

Is it possible the NN is just memorizing each course? I don't think he mentioned in the video what the train/test split was.

I've had good luck so far with Xamarin.Mac + traditional WPF for macOS and Windows respectively, with a PCL containing 90% of the shared code. Xamarin.Mac doesn't seem neglected to me, and the forums are decently active for suppor

For your example, a regular expression with named capture groups would be all you'd need, e.g.: https://pythex.org/?regex=%5E(%3FP%3Cuser%3E.%2B%3F)%20(like... If you start to need more complex features in your grammar

I think implementing a simple text editor with undo/redo support is a worthwhile exercise for everyone to do at least once in their career. It's a great example of something that on first glance seems simple, but has quite a bit o

Pixel-perfect is hard to do in SVG (at least in my experience). You have to be careful to align path geometry to half-pixel values so that whole-number stroke widths end up falling on a pixel boundary. And once you start scaling the SVG to

Vexlio comes with a minimal LaTeX bundle that is used to render the equations. The input you give in the edit window is automatically placed between $ signs to enter math mode. Currently the preamble is not customizable but you are not the

Not confidential -- Vexlio's written in C#, and uses Xamarin.Mac for the bindings to the Mac world. PDF and PNG are both generated by the Skia library (skia.org).

I recently released Vexlio ( https://vexlio.com ), a desktop (i.e. non-browser) diagramming application, that supports editing of embedded LaTeX equations which you can then easily export to PDF, SVG or PNG. Currently Windows only
