It does a nice job of laying out information, so I give top points for information design. The scrolling is a killer though. sounds like you really love the idea you came up with, but unfortunately, its very annoying and very confusing. It

I'd go for option A too. If people are paying for something, an email address is a legitimate request. Its a virtual world, and you need a way to contact them. I would have your privacy policy ready to go and prominent though. You might no

It comes off as more a scam than a real request for funding. "How do you know the tooth fairy isn't some crazy glue-sniffer. 'Buildin' model air planes,' he tells them. Well I'm not buying it. He sneaks into your house once, thats all it ta

This is a joke right? I mean, it sounds like the patent for a web form. Get info, use info, deliver it back to user. Replace privacy summary with almost anything else and you have a basic function of most websites.

I was thinking get rid of them and make it automatic. As your mouse gets over near the side of the screen, the bookcase start scrolling sideways, like you've started walking down the aisle.

What about a Netflix-style pop-up for the books, instead of that big window? You can really fit all the info you need in one of those, and it would interrupt the browsing experience less.

Good concept. Navigation is slow though. You have to keep going back up to the corner and down to books. Having automatic side scrolling would make it incredibly easier.

You should have been in the class - what an eye-opener. Venture Capitalists are really the repeat players in the industry, and it shows. Every concern is covered. Granted, I'm not saying everything in an agreement is tilted completely in a

Good point. However, many applications monetized on a larger scale are built on advertising models, which don't have to give a cut to Apple. But you're right, traditional, expensive, stand-alone software is going to take a hit. On the other

I suggest that Android developers get on the iPhone bandwagon soon, or they'll be toast. Android might sound nice on paper, but it doesn't actually sell applications. It will be spread out over who knows how many phones, each having differe

Why the S-Corp route? LLC's are more popular for good reason. Either way, pick up the Nolo series of books (or get them from the library). They are actually quite good. http://www.nolo.com/resource.cfm/catID/9FA25870-14F1-4657-97...
