Yeah I really want to see him do that with a mobile app. With a website it _might_ work in some scenarios but on mobile, having no shared UI is practically impossible (while it is merely extremely inconvenient on the web).

It doesn't surprise me at all, and I'm happy that so many people have to endure their terrible children now instead of sending them out to harass others.

It's not that the desktop "linux" developers don't care about security. But there's simply not enough manpower behind it. The linux kernel is only secure because that's what the cloud companies with a shit ton

It's not that the vulnerability isn't dangerous. It's that there are already _so_ many other vulnerabilities that outside of maybe JavaScript it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Desktop linux security is basically

But how many mech/civil engineers actually do any math beyond napkin calculations in their day-to-day work? It's way too complicated and all the math is now done by computers. In fact I'd argue that outside of research more c

It really doesn't work that well especially on small screens. Spotify for example has a minimum size and will be unusable when the tile is smaller than that because half the window isn't visible. Focus-follows-mouse is also broken

You can get literally the same "simplicity" as a "dynamically typed" language through structural row-polymorphic types with type inference, i.e. static duck typing. Not to mention that the concepts of static and dynamic

Obviously you don't have much experience with IDEs and statically typed languages, which is a shame because they make our life so much easier. There are no edge cases. And even if there were the IDE can show you the refactoring and you

AMD has always been better at price/performance but in the laptop space the number 1 through 10 most important features are efficiency. Intel CPUs use less power and make less heat, which has always been the limiting factor.
