Wow, that all caps menu is ugly. I hadn't seen that before. As the only person I can talk to working on VS team.. I hold you personally responsible. "Fix It!"

Is that a mag connector for the power? I didn't think anyone but apple could use that.

While this is hilarious. It's important to remember that charging EV cars isn't as fast as refueling at the moment. Maybe eventually though.

FIRST Robotics was an amazing experience. Our sponsoring university basically let us have free reign of their machine shop and made us do all the work ourselves, They just offered assistance if asked. Some of my favorite memories of school.

I'm in the middle of picking up Ruby primarily because there was a GitHub project I wanted to fork and modify for my purposes that happened to be written in Ruby. The biggest problem I found is that the Ruby (or maybe the Rails?) community b

This is exactly it. "In theory". Prior to iPad, then before MacBook air... This is exactly the device I wanted apple to make (And in many ways I still do). Sadly, when you wrap your head around things like battery, heat, and the like. You r

Oh wow. That's bad. It's in small font buried in a pargraph of text. The price really needs to be in big letters somewhere. Clicking buy doesn't even point out the price. (Subscribe page has no price anywhere that I see : http://www.sotmcl

I love this idea. I love the site. I hate that 3 minutes of searching didn't reveal to me the price. I'm going back to search a bit more.

People talk about the types of programmers you company needs, things like: Starter finisher bug fixer architect In many ways I think these are the sorts of things that are influenced by your background. People with a CS background tend to b

So, I agree with this article in spirit. Lots of programmers could've benefitted from a more programming centric approach rather than a CS approach. However, this bit gave me pause. " I cannot tell the difference by watching them develop so

Lucid dreams for me were a side effect of other things. They didn't effect the quality of my sleep, which was already very poor. My sleep apnea was such that my brain "woke up" about 45 times an hour. This kept me from ever experiencing ful

Every laptop I've ever owned that wasn't a macbook (4) had complete hardware failures related to the damned DC power jack in the side of the laptop. Without fail the damn things always shorted out and/or just stopped working.
