This isn't really a bug. Even if a user can't log out using the site, they can still clear cookies. Or just another browser for that matter. No procrast isn't iron proof and there is no way to make it so. ;-)

Sure, let's count learning to read, write, and spell correctly.... oh wait, you use that for programming too. ;-) Also, you should probably revise your thinking so "English" isn't just everything that has to do with books. It's critical th

I often get a lot of shock when I question Shakespeare's value. I'm not shocked at all; your viewpoint is actually fairly common. However, your points about Shakespeare are evidence that you really never fully understood why we study Sh

I had to read Romeo and Juliet my Freshman year in high school. My understanding is that R&J is a fairly common Freshman text. Your point about Calculus doesn't quite fit either because you don't need an extensive foundation to start

We teach Shakespeare and Calculus in high school, though those are certainly not the easiest choices in their respective fields. For an introductory programming class, I agree that Python is a great choice. However for seniors in a comput

You're going to need to explain why you feel that Prohibition has any relevance to the points I made in my previous comment, because I'm not sure what you are getting at. Yes, religious movements caused alcohol to be banned for a period of

Interesting question. Alcohol shouldn't be illegal because it's a major part of our social fabric in America. Business deals, hacker meetups, weddings, reunions, all have alcohol at them. Hell, the writers of the constitution consumed a

I don't have any specific blogs for you at the moment, but go with someone who is smart but unknown. Unknowns have to produce good content to stay afloat. At this point Coding Horror and Spolsky can get away with just about anything becau

Meth has nothing to do with most of your points. It's not the same as Marijuana. Meth related arrests are not causing overcrowding in jails. On philosophical grounds, I still believe that if you want to fuck up yourself in meth, it is YO

I never claimed that the current war on drugs is effective, only that meth should be illegal. A more effective methodology for shutting down meth production is fine by me.

I never claimed that the punishment was right, only that it should be illegal. I'm in favor of whatever punishment helps the addict and society at large the most.

No one is forcing them to make meth. Maybe the people should run meth labs should consider graduating high school and getting a real job. I hear you don't have to worry about getting blown up if you have one of those.

You seem to be claiming that the laws against meth ruin more lives than meth addiction itself? The data we have say differently. I suggest you read more on meth and its effects and stop using the prohibition of booze as your only data po

The government isn't causing the situation, the dumbasses who choose to take a chemically addictive substance are causing the problem. You don't have the right to do whatever you want in this country if it's going to fuck up everything aro

I might need to invest in that, my coffee pot is too big for my average use case. Any recommendations on burr grinders? My blade grinder works fine, but was thinking about trying a burr grinder out.

Right, the government is responsible for the deaths of the people who die in meth lab explosions. That's pretty twisted logic.

Guys, let's not down vote someone below 1 who is trusting enough to share some personal detail for the benefit of discussion. I think it's the right thing to do, regardless of correctness or lack of correctness.

I don't buy it. Adult's are not allowed to emotionally hurt their kids. Various child abuse laws cover this and our laws do indeed say that it is the State's business. You can't show me hard evidence that meth users usually act in emotion

There's nothing good about meth, period. I'm all about letting people do what they want in private, but meth is scary shit. Legalizing it would be like letting people own rocket launchers.

I suggest looking into a coffee press. Easy to clean, no filters to buy. You need to heat up water in your microwave and then let it sit for a few minutes. If you really are worried about time, pre-grind a bunch of beans over the weekend
