Last time I looked, the font wasn't fully finished though. Maybe the italic version will come later?

My thoughts exactly. Then again, I'd expect them to use a rather strong password for sensitive data. Considering 10^12 tries per second (which is probably very far fetched) and a 64 character alphanumeric password, my credit card -- probabl

The hacker has claimed the public and private key were both stored on the same machine and both accessible. The only protection left is the passphrase then. Various people have reported fraudulent activity on their CCs. Personally, I think

I'm giving it a shot right now. It's not down, but very slow. Site's been loading for two minutes now.

It is useful for people who either lack a second hand entirely or might not have it available for whatever reason.

On the notion of CLI RSS readers, I'd recommend to have a look at canto.

Huh, I didn't know that. I just checked the standard and you appear to be correct, so, just for the record: "... if the keyword static also appears within the [ and ] of the array type derivation, then for each call to the function, the val

On the note of that, there should really be a SimpleNumberFactory.

To get it right you have to be able to pick it apart according to specified rules. Being able to work with formally specified rules is an integral part in the study of computer science (also, other STEM majors). I'd say it's a perfectly val

I love how "MBA" is thrown like a cuss word around here. Makes me feel at home. I thought along the same lines by the way. He does have a point that customer experience is a part of making a successful product. After all, customers don't

Correct me if I'm wrong here but isn't that exactly the line between syntax and semantics? I'd think that a b(c x); is syntactically correct C++ but still not valid C++ code (as in: a well defined line of C++). As far as I know,

Brilliant. Now let it run natively in the browser rather than compiling to JS and you made the world a better place!

I guess there're also a lot of people in the tech industry who would like to see Oracle going out of business. Really, everything they touch seems to instantly get worse. See Java.

2 weeks ? I thought I should be proud of 25h of battery life. Incredible how energy efficient those old bricks are compared to modern smartphones, which even have a better battery.

There is no wrong thing to do when writing tools for personal productivity, as OP clearly stated. If it works, it works. If they decide to open source it, that's great. Maybe someone has use for it. The end.

The requirement of 100% stable is somewhat irritating. As far as I know Photoshop isn't even 100% stable under Windows.

What I'm trying to say is that you can't make a point about accessibility by making the point (not fully but quite) inaccessible to most people. I agree that this is an issue, but you're not pointing it out in the best way possible. In fact

This was a very good article to read. Very thoughtful. It does somewhat hit a nerve for me too. Ever since I started digging deeper into the complexity of computing I've felt a bit dumber every time I learned something new. It's just stagge
