This article seems to be a rant with lots of random and unsubstantiated claims. The author is disappointed in the web and web browser vendors. Then there's a call for action to stop adding features, which will certainly not be answered

The latter. I am. I'm using uBlock Origin, but apparently this redirect got through. Then the DNS lookup of guce.advertising.com failed because of the filter I have set up on that end, so my Techcrunch experience ended on an error page

Can vouch for the Pixel line. I've had a Pixel 3a XL for a little over a year and it's been great. Stock Android, good display, great battery life, great camera, great security, reasonably fast and 3 years of updates. That's

Right. It's not as if I enjoy my current routine. I feel like I sleep pretty deeply and reasonably long, but somehow I never feel rested. So I end up in this groggy cycle of alarms until I've finally had enough and get up.

Self hosting GitHub is an option as well. We've been self hosting GitHub Enterprise for years and it has had no downtime other than during scheduled updates (at night, when nobody's at work).
