Yeah, the problem with all these web apps is the lack of functionality when offline. Most just don't work, and some have a half working offline mode, but non-perfect connectivity or no connectivity really limits productivity today.

The OrangePis have much better IO (with the exception of the OrangePi+ 2, which is a bad buy), with each USB port being direct wired & capable of 40MB/s, and an onboard 100mbps PHY. Comparatively, the Raspi shoves all that over 1 U

Yeah, can vouch for Owncloud (although I've moved to the NextCloud fork), its a convenient replacement for Dropbox, just thrown an OrangePi Zero ($7), a JMS567 USB 3.0 to Sata adapter ($3) and any old HDD and you've got yourself a

Perhaps that is due to a lack of GPU/CPU grunt? The HTC Vive is a compelling experience from my testing, as compared to the Oculus dev kit I tried. Just so immersive with being able to walk around, grab things, go for a hike, etc. Perh

The scope for Sound Transit 3 is too small, primarily due to our Legislature kneecapping Sound Transit's taxing authority, and sub-area equity forcing Sound Transit to not build high ridership lines like what was proposed along the 44&

Uhh, we just approved $54 Billion for Sound Transit 3, which adds 62 miles of rail spanning from Everett to Tacoma, so no, light rail isn't dirt cheap. It is very effective at moving people cheaply though, and is a big economic boon to

Yeah, but I'd be surprised if Charlie didn't squawk about it, when it comes to vendor demands, I just don't see him going silently into the night if Intel asked him to benchmark it in a certain manner. Edit: Charlie did compl

Sony is one of the few Android vendors that mainlines the device drivers for their hardware, so you can reasonably build the newest AOSP version and go to 7.1 if you feel the inclination.
