Oh. Sure the rich and beautiful have it easier, but what does that have to do with you? You say you want to pursue your own ideas? Great - Then do that. What's the worst that could happen anyway? A bit of debt perhaps? A slightly less flash

Don't remember if it applies to this particular glyph, but I've had some issues in the past with some configurations of IE and/or Windows, where the unicode symbols wouldn't render. Just something to be aware of, if you're blindly using the

Well, I doubt it would ever become popular if it wasn't useful and easy to use. Actually, I think it is exactly because it's popular. All languages have odd ends, but you rarely hear people rant over Pythons lack of lambdas and weird expl

So, the problem with PHP is that it is popular? I guess it was the same crime that Java committed 10 years ago. And C++ before that. Makes sense - There's definitely a pattern of bashing the popular languages.

The 90% of last salary isn't correct. The rate is about 50% of an average salary, or slightly less than minimum wage.

Some times a benefit can be indirect and hard to see immediately. Being "technical correct" reduces complexity, which again reduces costs down the road. For example, it makes it easier for third parties to integrate with your service, to na

There's a difference between the implementation type and the protocol type. Or as Java calls them - Classes and Interfaces. Unfortunately most classical OO language collate the two, causing much confusion.

I think it's pretty important to figure out what you expect from a framework. If you want to make it easier for other people to come on, perhaps open up to an ecosystem of open source contribution, you want a framework with broad appeal. Yi

I hope we've come at least a bit further since the renaissance. Diplomacy doesn't have to be a zero-sum game - indeed it rarely is in the real world. War, on the other hand, is very much that. So in that respect, war is the failure of diplo

Theoretically, it's not a bad point of view, but for a newbie, it's not how the concept "MVC" is normally used. I would suggest linking to something like this: http://guides.rubyonrails.org/getting_started.html#the-mvc-a... - Now, Rails i
