When I have been hiring, I make sure to inform candidates that aren't hired. If I have been far enough with them that we actually met, I have so far always offered to explain why they weren't picked, over the phone. Not only do I think it's

Yes, I'd say parent has it wrong. In Denmark it is certainly taboo to discuss salary and I would be rather surprised if there were cultural differences on that point between Denmark and Sweden. It's very much about context - there are situa

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but you write that: So I scale back up to 100 follower requests for the next call. It goes through. Next 100, fails. I scale down again … So, that sounds like a cache is being primed on the first request. I

I like. The vertical variant looks very similar to a <select> element with the size attribute set. Maybe you could take some clues wrt styling from these elements? Not sure how that would look in a horizontal version though.

You wouldn't want to actually issue a new request each time the view is updated. A good solution would probably be to use `pushState` on browsers that support it and fall back to the current behavior for older browsers.

You could always sell through specialised phone recyclers, such as gazelle.com. You won't get the same price for it, but you won't get the hassle either.

In general, reducing fat (especially the animal kind) is good for modern people, since we tend to get too much of it.

I wonder what problem this is really solving. I mean, delete+create in a script will happen pretty fast after each other, so the moment of inconsistency is really very short. If this is an actual problem for you, chances are that your setup

Well, a Facade is very much about hiding away something that you have no control over. Even in an FP environment, you need to communicate with third parties, and they generally to a crap job of their api's.
