Please do remember that Torvalds worked for Transmeta which created and designed vliw CPUs from scratch. He's also really practical guy if you happen to remember about Minix micro-kernel VS monolithic Linux-kernel ;)

Yep, the price published for Finland feels really weird. The operators are nowadays selling even even unlimited data prepaids for 20-30 euros or 1 eur per day. This of course makes gigabyte price comparison a bit hard as it depends how much

Good point about the software. Cube was published when Mac OS X was in its infancy. Ended up doing some expo gig where we presented it with the Mac OS X Public Beta running Mac OS Classic version of Photoshop. The Cube was so cool for its t

Do you happen to have any idea, whether older RPIs like 1 or 2 could work for this fast enough? Have some of those laying around.

I miss the constrained design of Mac OS Classic. You could use multiple windows even on those puny Mac SE -type 512x384 displays and with some 1024x768 display you could have lots of different things happening for file operations, apps etc.

Also, for some reason this art piece looks better live than on paper or on screen. It may have something to do with its size and how eye handles it live.

Used JED in the 90s to 00s until nano became a default lightweight editor. Was a lot faster to start for small edits than Emacs. Really liked the editor.

I've had about two cups of coffee in my whole life but I'm addicted to tea. Especially good quality senchas. At work place I was drinking about 2-4 x 450 ml per work day. Now at isolation home it's 2-3 cups (maybe 200-250ml

I’ve been a scifi and fantasy nerd for my whole life but Dostoevsky’s and Mika Waltari’s books have been more influential in understanding humans, their motivations and emotions than most of the fiction. Wish I could find more of something
