   As far as I am aware there is no good reason to not use MariaDB instead of MySQL. The creator of MariaDB, Monty Widenius, was on a episode of the changelog podcast if you want to hear some background as to why.

   I am using both Qubes and Nix(OS) and would love to combine the two somehow. Nix store doesn't mix well with the template system used by Qubes.

   I run Qubes OS on my Thinkpad T430s for 1.5 years now. Everything worked out of the box.

   If you have your keys on an air gapped computer with an encrypted hard-disk, I don't see the need to use an additional password on the private keys.

   I signed up to try Webflow. Unfortunately Firefox is not supported. I guess the "Only works in Chrome" really is the new "Works best in IE6".

   Is it really based in Switzerland? If you look at the jobs page, they are all in Berlin. My guess would be registred in Switzerland, based in Germany and Data stored in Irland.

    You have to consider that react was the first (popular) implementation of a virtual dom. We learned a tremendous amount how to implement and use the virtual dom in the mean time. And react isn't a framework, it only implements the view
