That scenario is usually either misuse of escape hatches (especially at API boundaries) or a misunderstanding of what Typescript actually guarantees.

Are these devices popular? My friend has two and is excited about them, but I have no exposure to them outside of that, so it's cool to see it pop up here.

That's a very poor comparison then and not very useful?

I don't really see how you're comparing Pydantic AI here to Typescript. I'm assuming you meant simply Pydantic.

That's why I don't use it in my editor and only through CLI coding agents.

I think it's really exciting. It seems like we always assume technology advances linearly (even with valid counter examples).

Can we please just call it model driven development? I already hated the distortion of "vibe" as it got distorted from Karpathy's original meaning.

In this case it very directly relates to the content's focus and is hardly tangential.

Disappointed with the background image. I was expecting a similar treatment like with Sequoia and previous versions with a beautiful and inspiring scene in nature. Instead it is vaguely inspired by water?

It also seems wildly inconsistent for someone who founded a self driving company. If models can't write code, which is a very constrained problem space, how are they supposed to drive?

I do agree it seems like too many protocols. I wonder why this couldn't be mcp. But regarding ag-ui in its name it's for UI - streaming from a backend agent to a client frontend. I actually have been working a lot with it this wee

I dunno, it is a bit different leveraging a model, but I still listen to music coding. It does depend on the music. I need to listen to really brutal stuff (Arsis, Thyrfing, Dissection, etc.) to focus, though

I would try upgrading or wiping away your current install and re-installing it. There might be some cached files somewhere that are in a bad state. At least that's what fixed it for me when I recently came across something similar.

Actually I have/had a lot of these. They can only be used with triple a batteries and don't last long. The usb c is only for development (and still lacks power so you still need batteries). The typing as maybe expected gets tiring

I remember seeing a father loudly and strongly tell his daughter "DO NOT EAT THIS!" when holding one of those desiccant packets that come in some snacks. He turned around and she started to eat it.
