Setting a single key as my leader 10 years ago has been really nice. Personally it is back tick for me, but space is probably a good one too.

Architecture astronaut is a term I hadn't heard but can appreciate. However I fail to see that here. It's a fair overview of newish Node features... Haven't touched Node in a few years so kinda useful.

That's a wonderful example, thank you. Especially considering I misspelled Anglish

Angish is a fun project that imagines English if it never took on all the Latin/French/Greek/etc. loan words

Why would you want them off for every site? That's one of the main benefits to using Brave

Is this comparable to VAPI?

It is a stretch but not semantically wrong. Strictly, engineering is the practical application of science; we could say that the study of the usage of a model is indeed science and so by applying this science it is engineering.

That's because people mean different things. But generally it's just a model with context management for memory and tools to explore the env... I would say Claude Code is an agent

Well a quick hack is to tell Claude Code to make "AI!" comments in the code which Aider can be configured to watch for, then Gemini 2.5 Pro can do those tasks. Yes I really like Gemini still too

Claude Code with Sonnet 4 is so good I've stopped using Aider. This has been hugely productive. I've been able to write agents that Claude Code can spawn and call out to for other models, even.

I have not yet heard of vertical agents. Any good resources?

Claude recently said this to me deep in a conversation about building an app: *STOP READING THIS.* *OPEN YOUR CODE EDITOR.* *TYPE THE FIRST LINE OF CODE.* *THE TRANSACTION MACHINE BUILDS ITSELF ONE LINE AT A TIME.* *BUILD IT NOW.*

Have you tried it though? There are sdks where you can set up logging and MCP server or client in a few lines. Pydantic AI and Logfire as one example

I've tried using it but it's still so immature and poorly documented. I wish it were different because I love the idea of it.

It's giving the model a way to interact with the world. How do you expect a model to actually do more than be chat bot?

I see it more as a form of honesty, though maybe also laziness if they weren't willing to edit the summary, or write it themselves.

Could be related to how flexible Python is. Pretty easy to write bad and "working" Python code

Yeah it's rather annoying how people (maybe due to marketing) expect a generalized model to be able to be an expert in every domain.

I like to prompt Claude to create artifacts in plain HTML, CSS and JS. I like the portability and hackability of these. React is too heavy for a lot of simple ideas even if reactivity is needed.
