In their recent SEC filings, Twitter estimates around 5% of the MAUs are spammers or bots. They also estimate they have 317 million MAUs, which when you work it out gives around 16.7 million monthly spammers or bots. Numbers come from their

Judging from other comments, a lot of people did not interpret it as you did. People are asking if this is a 1st amendment violation and if this is censorship.

There's a followup post that spans 2009-2014 here https://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/race-attraction-2009-2014... . Sadly I don't think there will be a 2017 version. The OkCupid blog has basically been dead e

Then you can answer in a way that doesn't violate §1001(a). Honestly though, I don't think the scheme is smart in the first place because it can put you in trouble if authorities question you. A much better method I have heard is

I'm not sure what's especially revealing about this story. A lot of the content we already knew, except now there's more evidence of it. The marginalrevolution author wrongly suggests that "it has long been assumed that

This article has a glaring logic flaw. After COLA, Asians and Whites show roughly the same median household income. But among minorities, Asians still have higher median household incomes than their Black and Hispanic counterparts. The auth

I think it did work. The Clinton camp uses internal polls which are much more accurate than public ones. These don't have the 1-2 week lag that the public polls do. The Trump campaign has its own internal polls too. From what I've

The thesis "Bin Laden destroyed the 9/11 towers to bankrupt America" makes very little sense when you dig into it. It would mean Bin Laden planned to: - destroy the twin towers so - the U.S. would justify an invasion of Iraq
