I actually agree with the logic. Not necessarily on a phone you take out but an average Android phone running Linux should be able to do this. You can have a very usable web server and have custody over your own data/website. Couple it

Another useless website goes to its grave. I am much happier touching grass, always been voluntary - now many more can touch grass with me.

Good state enjoyer. Thank you for acknowledging the role of the states over the feds.

And is it enabled by default? Also is it mathematically unique not to cause any potential conflicts.

IPv6 has link-local, v4 doesn't. That is a huge configuration win.

Ah yes "the government will fix it" okay . Maybe practice what you preach and deploy v6. I have. Infact I run v6 only.

I have devices on public v6 at home. When I hear people complain about these things I honestly ask them. What the hell are you running on your machine that you dont want anyone accessing? Bind it locally then or use an fwall. I am astounded

>Why would I want publically routable addresses Hate to break it to you but that is how the internet was intended to work for end-users. Firewalls are cheap and easy to install :)

Finally some sense. There are so many senseless IPv4 shills here. IPv6 always works, never had a problem with it. Just switch to it alrready.

As a lover of assembly, I really do love the typeless nature of Forth, great fun. Along with the stack-based computation. There were also cells which was like a heap from what I recall. I taught myself some Forth, I ought to get back into i

I don't see such a feat taking place in the next decade, you need highly dedicated people. I can see new code being written in Rust but a C free build sounds like something that really won't be happening anytime soon. I wish somet

Fellow African here, this reminds me of a book I read called Americanah. Was a sweet story. Nigeria is cool. Also a compiler enjoyer so this slaps. I love seeing people roll their own.

This is my first rodeo with meta programming in D and I must say I find it rather awesome. I wrote this in less than 24 hours but the serializer is mostly done, deserializer just could do with some more types and then just a few API calls m

Python is dynamically typed. I had an entire research project in it (see: http://deavmi.assigned.network/research/ ) and I can say it makes for terrible programming. Static typing is worth it. Every friend of mine who l

Honestly it is such a fun language playing with FPC especially. I have the urge tl write something in it. Maybe when I am done with my compiler (written in D), I'll write something fun and small like that in Pascal. Who knows! But I lo

We did recursion in maybe like 7th week or so I guess. It was later on, but I think it really hit with second year compiler course.

Personally I read the programmer manual for FP. You can do both Object Pascal OOP and Delphi OOP. Wild. Also nice units for doing mmap and all libc stuff. I really ought to finish learning Pascal and actually write something in it. Not a ba

I think it is easier to reason about the theory of time complexity if you understand the code you want to analyze than the other way round. I must say however, I am not a fan of it teaching the "hip languages of the day". My intro

I must say, COVID showed how many people didn't treat their bodies as their temples. Many obese people and then you wonder why they can't fight this off. Now, the exception is the less common immune deficient people - that I under
