Exactly. The uncluttered search experience was very much a user-centered design decision and it was indicative of the fact that Google valued my needs as a user.

If they are your designers, it might be time to engineer a better hiring system.

I think your opinion is misguided and it comes across as immature. Design can be indicative of a variety of important things, like a company's commitment to its users/customers. Google's simple search experience was a conscio

So you would rather speak to a dispatcher who is, at best, trained as an EMT first instead of an actual emergency physician? All the next steps (dispatching an actual ambulance) are exactly the same in the Call 9 model and the traditional 9

So you can get an ER doctor as the first point of contact instead of the last.

This is really interesting. I know it's not a replacement for it, but 911 seems so inefficient and outdated to me today. I'm excited to see how this company progresses. Small improvements here can really save lives.

Thanks Vanchi! Leafsnap is great and I enjoy using the app. When we launched the Project Noah app last year, this space was empty, but lots of new and cool apps/websites are out there now. Also check out iNaturalist and Scispy (by the disco
