Similarly, I use the same bindings I mentioned above on my laptop keyboard, and there I have the right command key bound to control. Since it's right next to the spacebar I can easily hold it down with my thumb while using other keys t

I use a setup that's similar in spirit. My custom keyboard has palm keys (kind of like the https://shop.keyboard.io/ ), which I have mapped to control and shift (on a mac). I have a Sublime Text keymap file that has a b

Yah so what it does is try to find a path with bidirectional links, and then if it can't it tries to find a unidirectional path. You can tell which one it did by whether the numbers in the path have a pulsing glow animation, that parti

Just chiming in that I really like your absurdly long HN comments about Rust, and that while I have a script that gives me an RSS feed of them, others don't. You should consider a blog where you just copy-paste long HN comment threads

This is awesome! Substrate VM not being open source was a major reason I wasn't more excited about Truffle/Graal. Without Substrate VM, startup times for Truffle-based interpreters are terrible (see http://nirvdrum.com&

1. Write a Tensorflow wrapper that mints a new private cryptocurrency where the proof of work is training your deep learning model. 2. Sell it to companies who bought racks full of GeForce GPUs for deep learning. 3. Profit!

Yah I had noticed their docs never said it called you after vsync. It's not that it calls you as late as possible though, as my experiments show it just calls you at an arbitrary but consistent point in the frame like a timer.

Maybe the reason that 120fps is perceivably better is that your draw calls don't line up with vsync, so doubling the number of frames eliminates the dropped frame effect in @jordwalke's diagram! And thanks for the Twitter recommen
