I guess good time to point out XPrivacyLua[0], a privacy/permissions manager which should be default in Android imo (without having to root/install Xposed etc). But for the power users out there, worth it. [0]: https://

Could you expand on why it's less than ideal? I'm considering moving, so far it looks good.

Or alternatively a HackRF clone ($100 from Alibaba etc), ADALM-PLUTO etc if you want an SDR that can cover a few GHz instead - these are great fun, even a $10 RTL-SDR is amazing (tops out at 1.5GHz though).

For the power-users out there there is a solution, install Xposed[0] on your device (root and custom recovery required of course) and then XPrivacyLua[1] which provides fine controls allowing you to hide identifiers (ad IDs etc), tracking,

Wow that title was hard to parse - two sentences as in the article would be much clearer - or maybe just reword it. Article: These California beaches have long been off-limits. But public outrage is changing the tide edit: it's been fi

Just a tip for anyone passing by, [Deepl]( https://www.deepl.com/translator ) is miles ahead of Google Translate in terms of accurate/natural translations.

Expected something a bit more than a basic MAC change. But I guess simple things work best sometimes - I used to do this on Wi-Fi trains that had a 20MB limit.

Clickbait title and actually references 'Dead Coins' website which is completely unreliable - not to mention the fact that I could 'create' a new token worth zero in about 5 minutes.

I'm by no means an expert - just a hobbyist tinkering with some RF magic, but I made a simple POC of using SDR to reverse engineer and perform jam and replay attacks on cars - essentially giving you permanent access (for cars with butt

I'd pay $10 extra just for the Gigabit functionality. 100Mbps is unacceptable for any sort of media/file server applications and 230Mbps is only 1/4 of my Internet connection.
