but wouldnt that also include uploading 35gb of data and finally downloading xxGB (result size)? i think when you add this time you can just take your multicore desktop and let it run over night.

well its what a common household would pay for that kind of electricity. i think starting from 5k kwh per year the local power company will start offering "power user" quotes (even for normal households). hetzner is one of the biggest serve

interestingly enough its rather cheap to do this now and is becoming cheaper every year. i doubt that this will only be a concern for apple employees as industrial espionage seems to be quite lucrative.

well the ryanair flights seem to be there partially. for example: LBC is only listed with two possible destinations but there are at least 6.

i think they talked about this in the past. they thought it was a problem that almost nobody picked the storys up in depth so they thought about changing the release model. they talked about releasing stuff a few days earlier for the press

and why dont you just ship compiled versions and add some sort of licencing into your program? or does the contract state that you have to give the sourcecode along with the programm (that would make it "some software you built on contract
