A bit off-topic but it's interesting to see the name greenrobot pop up again after all these years. :) Early Android developers may remember greenrobot/greenDAO and greenrobot/EventBus libraries from back in the day, both ver

OK so my confusion was from thinking Clojure is statically typed, which apparently is not true. I was basically asking the same question as https://www.reddit.com/r/Clojure/comments/6f6cq2/how_to_comp...

How does this work with autocomplete if you need to know the method name before the object you're working with? Maybe I'm not getting something but that sounds incredibly painful to use in practice.

Does anyone else find it weird/disturbing that someone is compiling a list of women engineers and where they work? I understand having a list of influential speakers and such to look up to, but this does not seem to be the case. The au

Many of the major app developers only support two OS versions back, eg iOS 11 and iOS 12 now. If you don't upgrade then you might stop getting updates for some apps.

This doesn't address the OP's concerns at all, and how would it be any better? I get wanting to A/B test for apps, but doing so for OS-level features is a bit unsettling.

I was amazed the other day at how difficult it is to find products on Amazon now. I knew exactly which product I wanted to buy beforehand too. I was trying to buy "BSN Syntha-6 Edge Protein Powder". I dare anyone reading this comm

This looks very well done from the product side of things, but how is it better than having a slack channel for the team to post async standup updates in? Seems a lot simpler than using another service, and more flexible since you can add l

Can anyone recommend a framework like Django except for a static language? I tried Django and really liked what I saw, but I can't see myself using Python for a large project.

One thing I find very disingenuous from Amazon is how they promote older products. I was looking to buy a dash cam for my car and settled on a Rexing V1. It was recommended as Amazon's Choice and on sale for $99.99 (from $149.99!). I w
